The idea behind our “Hands Up” campaign originated when local businessman, Johnny Webb, decided in lieu of perpetual fundraising efforts he would invite people to make an annual contribution to Habitat. The original plan was called the Mighty 500. Since it’s inception in 1997 the community has given over $430,000.00 through this effort. Hand’s Up with Habitat continues the spirit of this original campaign by engaging broad based community support of Habitat’s mission of building strength, stability and self-reliance through shelter!
“Hands Up With Habitat” offers you the opportunity to join us in offering a “Hand Up” to families in need. We envision hands lifted high as community members work side by side with partner families to build homes, communities and hope.
Become "A Hand Up" donor by making a commitment of $300/year or $25 per month.
Become "A High Five" Partner by making a commitment of $600/year or $50/month.
Become "A Grand Hand" Partner by making a commitment of $1,200/ year or $100 per month.
