It’s an honor to serve on this board, as Habitat for Humanity aligns so closely with my beliefs and interests. Being a construction manager and also having worked on several houses for our partner families, I’m so thankful for the presence that our affiliate has here in our community and the difference that it continues to make. I hope you’ll join us in making that difference by volunteering, donating, and lifting us up in prayer.

Being a member of the Board at Habitat for Humanity is a privilege that I hold dearly. Serving our community by empowering people with strength, stability, and self reliance through home ownership is a mission that resonates with me at my core. I'm humbled to be involved with Habitat for Humanity, working alongside such bright people, with a singular objective to help the people in Bowling Green. There's no mistaking the look of pride and security you see on the face of a new homeowner walking into their new home. Everyone deserves a place to call home.

Both my faith and my sense of civic duty lead me to the understanding that we are called to help those less fortunate than us. I know of no way to answer that call which is better than service through Habitat. It has been my pleasure to help a bit with Habitat work over the years and it is a natural step to accept the invitation to serve on the board. Plus, I enjoy it!

A very wise woman once said "Our purpose in life is to help others we pass along the way." That is such a simple statement, but is and has been my mission for most of my life. So many of us take housing security for granted, but having a safe and secure place to call home can impact families for generations. I'm honored to be part of an organization offering that kind of security to families in our own community.

I am a proud board member for Habitat for Humanity. Becoming a homeowner is proving to be more and more difficult, and Habitat truly helps families reach that milestone. It is an amazing feeling knowing that we as an organization are doing our part in lifting people up in our community – not only does Habitat provide affordable housing, but it also effects other avenues of people’s lives and gives them the opportunity and confidence to work towards financial freedom. I look forward to seeing more and more families being empowered through homeownership.

It is with great honor to serve on the Habitat for Humanity Board to help build the lives of so many deserving families reach their ultimate goal; home ownership. My desire to help those who seek affordable housing by breaking barriers and generational cycles, promote outreach and education, community enrichment, provide job opportunities, and economic growth are just a few of my many reasons why I serve. It is truly rewarding to work hand and hand with community partners and volunteers to provide safe and secure housing that so many families are proud to call home.

I’m proud and humbled to be able to serve our Bowling Green community through Habitat for Humanity. Originally from Nashville, I grew up volunteering for Habitat for Humanity of Greater Nashville and Hands on Nashville when I was in middle school. I took that love of being active in my community and continued to do that through high school and on through my time at Centre College in Danville, KY. When the opportunity to be on this board presented itself to me, I knew it was a great match. I love going to the builds and helping with physical labor whenever I get the opportunity, while I help try to make a difference through all of the “behind the scenes” necessary steps on a more regular basis. I’m excited to watch Habitat for Humanity continue to grow and serve the community here in Bowling Green for many years to come.

I am honored to serve on the Board with Habitat for Humanity and to help local families achieve their dream of owning a home. Growing up in the Bowling Green area, I have seen the joy that Habitat has brought to so many people in the community here through home ownership. Home ownership can change someone’s trajectory and improve so many things within their life that make it more fulfilling. It is amazing how many lives have been influenced and changed here in Warren County. I am so thrilled to be able to help families achieve their goals with Habitat for Humanity!

It is truly an honor to be a board member for Habitat for Humanity of Warren County. I have learned early in life what my purpose is, and it is to help others. Serving on the board gives me a wonderful opportunity to do just that and to give back to the community. Helping those that are less fortunate is one of the things that I genuinely enjoy doing. Habitat truly blesses so many families in our community by providing affordable homes, educating on finances, providing jobs and overall stability through home ownership. It is truly a blessing to see the impact Habitat is having in our community and I am grateful to be a part of such a great organization.
