Habitat for Humanity builds simple, affordable homes with and for families, couples and individuals in need of housing. Along with new home construction, Habtiat for Humanity is working to offer a diversity of affordable homeownership solutions.
-
Habitat is funded by donations and staffed largely with volunteers. We are always in need of individuals willing to pitch in to help a neighbor in need. Visit our Support page to find out ways to donate or volunteer.
-
All contributions are used where most needed, for construction materials, building permits, subcontractor fees or other construction expenses.

No. In addition to the homeowner in progress hours that homeowners put into the building of their homes, they purchase their homes through an affordable mortgage provided by Habitat. The homeowners' payments become a part of our "Fund for Humanity" and help make it possible for future homeowners to know the dream of homeownership.
-
Families, couples or individuals in need of decent shelter apply to local Habitat affiliates. The Homeowner Selection Committee assesses each applicant’s level of need, their willingness to become partners in the program and their ability to repay an affordable mortgage loan. Neither race nor religion is a factor in choosing who receives a Habitat home; however, applicants must have lived or worked in Warren County for at least one year.
