  • No. In addition to the homeowner in progress hours that homeowners put into the building of their homes, they purchase their homes through an affordable mortgage provided by Habitat. The homeowners' payments become a part of our "Fund for Humanity" and help make it possible for future homeowners to know the dream of homeownership.

The Homeowner Selection Committee assesses each applicant’s level of need, their willingness to become partners in the program and their ability to repay an affordable mortgage loan.
